Complete oversight of your aircraft.
Target Trace is a tracking system for General Aviation — an online overview of aircraft positions, an electronic aircraft logbook and interactive evaluation of the flight record. Using Target Trace increases the safety of flight operations.
How it works
Three steps from installation to a complete flight analysis.
Place the tracker in your aircraft
Just place the independent tracker in your aircraft — no wiring into the aircraft's electrical system and no other intervention in the aircraft is required. The tracker is fully autonomous, so records are available from its very next movement.
Fly as usual
The system requires no manual intervention from the pilot — just charge the tracker every 100 flight hours (ideally during the 100 hr maintenance check). Thanks to the mobile data network, you'll be seen both when taxiing and flying at low altitude.
Review your flight
Based on your aircraft's movements, the system automatically generates an electronic logbook with departure/arrival times and airport identification. You can view the flight record online while it's still in progress, or download it in .kml format and open it in, for example, Google Earth.
Everything Target Trace can do
From live position to data for a full safety analysis.
- Real-time monitoring of your own aircraftPosition, speed, direction and altitude online, anywhere in Europe or worldwide.
- Visibility into other users' aircraft on the systemOther Target Trace customers' aircraft appear on the map anonymously as "FLIGHT", with no registration shown.
- Automatic flight detection and an electronic flight listThe system recognises take-off and landing on its own, assigns the departure and arrival airport and times, and keeps both a per-flight record and a full-day record of the aircraft's movement.
- A record of every single movementThe tracker also logs movement on the ground — taxiing and repositioning — not just flights themselves.
- Data for debriefing and operational safety
- The complete flight — taxi, flight, and taxi at the destination — for a detailed debrief
- A basis for resolving safety incidents and accidents
- A proactive approach to safety and indiscipline prevention
- Proof of compliance with noise-abatement procedures, on request from the airport operator
- Automatic e-mailed summaries of the whole fleet's records for a chosen period, sent to company staff
- Monitoring a defined zoneThe system can detect entry into a defined zone and flag it on request.
Solutions for everyone who wants to monitor their aircraft and increase flight safety
From an aircraft owner through flight schools to airport operators.

A logbook that keeps itself
No more manual logbook entries. Target Trace records every take-off and landing, identifies the airport and calculates flight duration.

- for a target of the “Aircraft” type, also makes Target Trace service data available to users of the Skydispatch system at airports in the Czech Republic and in Europe that use that system, only to the extent corresponding to traffic within a radius of 6 NM from the reference point of the relevant airport, including the aircraft's registration, current speed and altitude, but without access to the user's data history and records;
- shows other users, in the online view, the current positions of the user's aircraft without stating the user's data, i.e. in that view they see only an aircraft icon with current speed and altitude over the map background, without the aircraft's registration.
- The user has been advised by the provider that the Target Trace system is not approved by the European Union Aviation Safety Agency, the Civil Aviation Authority, Air Navigation Services, or any other aviation institution, and serves solely as an aid for users of the system. The aircraft position determined by the system may be inaccurate, and the Target Trace system may therefore under no circumstances be used for air traffic control or for providing air traffic information.

The processor of personal data is the provider. The user further acknowledges and agrees to personal data obtained by the provider under the contract concluded with the user being provided to a third party from which the provider procures data services and services related to monitoring the position of objects that are necessary for the functioning of the Target Trace system. The user acknowledges that this third party will process personal data to the same extent as the provider.
- The user further acknowledges that they may withdraw this consent at any time, including partially, in a manner similar to that in which it was granted, or by e-mail to info@targettrace.cz, and that they have the right to access the personal data being processed, the right to have it corrected, erased, to restrict its processing, to have inaccurate personal data blocked, the right to data portability, the right to object to processing, and the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority.
- The user gives consent as part of e-mail communication with the provider, in electronic form. The contract cannot be concluded without such consent being given. Consent is granted for the duration of the contractual relationship between the parties and further for the period necessary in the interest of protecting and securing the legitimate interests of the contractual parties, free of charge. The user has the right to be provided with information on the manner and scope of the processing of personal data.
- The provider undertakes to take reasonable measures to ensure that, in processing personal data within the meaning of this arrangement, there is no unauthorized interference with the user's personal data.
- The user agrees to the processing of, in particular, the following personal data: first and last name, home address, telephone number and e-mail address (hereinafter jointly “personal data”).
- The provider may entrust the processing of a customer's personal data to a third party as a processor.
- Personal data will be processed in electronic form.
- The user confirms that the personal data provided is accurate and that they have been informed that the provision of personal data is voluntary.
- Where the user believes that the provider or processor is processing their personal data in a manner that is contrary to the protection of the user's private and personal life or contrary to law, in particular where personal data is inaccurate with regard to the purpose of its processing, the user may:
- request an explanation,
- require the provider or processor to remedy the situation so arising.
- Where the user requests information on the processing of their personal data, the provider is obliged to provide such information. The provider has the right to require reasonable payment for providing the information referred to in the previous sentence, not exceeding the costs necessarily incurred in providing such information.

Final provisions
- Where the relationship established by the contract contains an international (foreign) element, the parties agree that the relationship is governed by Czech law. This does not affect rights of the consumer arising from generally binding legal regulations.
- Where any provision of the terms and conditions is or becomes invalid or ineffective, the invalid provision shall be replaced by a provision whose meaning is as close as possible to that of the invalid provision. The invalidity or ineffectiveness of one provision shall not affect the validity of the other provisions. Amendments and additions to the contract or terms and conditions require written form.
